At Just Vertical we are fully confident in our products and our customers satisfaction with them. However, we understand circumstances change. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the product or do not want to go through with your order, we're here to help!
Once the unit is shipped cancellations are not accepted and the customer will have to operate under refund conditions stated below once their unit arrives.
For all customers, returns will be accepted for all orders within 14 days of receiving your unit. For a full refund minus shipping fees. For redirection of packages for PayBright-financed orders, the request must be approved by PayBright's anti-fraud team.
We do not accept any refunds on any seeds, grow plugs, nutrients or any other accessories once shipped, as these items are final sale.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
If set-up, maintenance and proper growing procedures are not followed as per the user manuals and guides, your return may be refused.

Warranty
Just Vertical provides a 2-year warranty for the AEVA and EVE products. Within the first two years, if anything needs to be replaced (lights, pump, timers, etc.) because they do not work or break, through no fault of your own, we will send you the needed parts and materials at no cost.
If your AEVA or EVE is cosmetically scratched or damaged in any way, please reach out to support and we will get you the appropriate materials to resolve the issue.
Just Vertical provides a 21-day seed germination guarantee for all seeds we sell. Any seeds that do not germinate after 21 days will be fully refunded (if used within 6 months of receipt).
What Voids Warranty
1. Using any grow substrate or media that is not sold by Just Vertical in the units. Please note, using soil will cause severe damage to the unit and may break the internal hardware.
2. Any replacement hardware not certified by Just Vertical.
3. Please note warranties are not transferrable.
4. The warranty does not cover any secondary shipping after initial delivery to directed address.
5. If set-up, maintenance and proper growing procedures are not followed as per the user manuals and guides.

All issues can be solved over email, a phone call or video call with our support team. If requesting an on site support visit (Greater Toronto Area Only), an hourly rate will be applied.

Q1. Is growing your own food cheaper than buying it from the grocery store?
A1. With our produce payback promise we guarantee that your garden will pay for itself right out of the box. By growing some of your own food, not only do you help the planet but you also help yourself by saving money!
Q2. What are the dimensions of the EVE?
A2. The EVE is 57 inches tall (145 cm), 18 inches wide (46 cm) and 8.25 inches deep (21 cm).
Q3. How do you setup the EVE?
A3. To set up the EVE, place them near an electrical outlet, plug them in, plant the seed pods that come with in your Starter Kit, fill in the water reservoir, and watch your plants grow!

Q5. What is the difference between the AEVA and the EVE?
A5. The EVE has the same functionality as the AEVA but smaller. It is designed to fit in the tiniest of spaces, without compromising the quality and efficiency of this vertical garden. In the EVE, the main difference is that the plants are closer to the lights, meaning it is harder for fruiting plants to be grown to maturity.

What kind of electrical outlet do I need?
A standard 120-volt, 3-prong electrical outlet.
How much light is needed?
Grow lights are included with your garden and we recommend 18 hours on and 6 hours off for vegetative growth and 12 hours on and 12 hours off for fruiting plants. Your seedling kit comes with a built in grow light that you can run 24 hours until your seedlings are ready to go!
How much electricity does the AEVA and EVE use?
Both the AEVA & EVE use $3.56 CAD a month in electricity. This equates to 0.072 kW / per hour.
How long does the light stay on for?
We recommend 18 hours on and 6 hours off for vegetative growth and 12 hours on and 12 hours off for fruiting plants.
How much water do the AEVA and the EVE need?
The AEVA and the EVE have their own self-contained 12L water reservoir. Simply refill the water reservoir every 2 weeks for the AEVA and EVE. Our mobile app is built to notify you when the water reservoir is running low.
